- University Support Centre - everything to do with personal, educational and vocational counselling all under one roof

- University Mentor Scheme - matching new students with their senior counterparts for guidance and counselling

Learning & Language Support
- The Learning, Language and Research Skills unit offers assistance to international students in study and assignment preparation.
- For English language support, there is the English Language and Study Skills Advisor. There are also full-time English language courses on offer by the Centre for English Language Testing.
Student Guild
Established in 1913, the guild aims to enhance the university experience of all students through a range of services, amenities and clubs and associations. International Students' Services (ISS) is the chapter of the body responsible for the welfare of international students.
Religious Facilities
Religious clubs and associations on campus include Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Sikh, Baha'i and Buddhist denominations.
For Muslim students, there is a special prayer and wash room.
