Alternative Entry to CQU

International students who do not meet the minimum entry requirements can undertake fully accredited ELICOS language programs at either the Rockhampton or the Gold Coast campus and progress to a full CQU degree program upon successful completion of the program.

Other foundation or preliminary programs completed at other Australian tertiary institutions will be accepted subject to meeting the required grades for specific programs.

CQU also has many credit transfer agreements with colleges, polytechnics and universities that enable students to gain advanced standing across the tertiary education spectrum. Applicants must submit full details of their qualifications with their applications and seek advice from the university or a recognised agent.
The AA Education offers free and confidential advice to interested applicants who wish to undertake foundation programs or enrol in a course with advanced standing.

Special Postgraduate entry
The Master of Business Administration and Master of E-business programs require the successful completion of a Australian bachelors degree or its equivalent as well two years of work experience in a management related field.

The following qualifications list the path towards a Master of Business administration qualification:

• Graduate Certificate in Management (10 years work experience or a diploma and 5 years work experience required for entry)
• Graduate Diploma in Management
