Steps for Applying at Central Queensland University (CQU)

Step 1 : Fill in the relevant application form
Application for admission: Complete the 'Application for Admission' form. If you are unsure about any section, please contact the relevant campus or a trained AA Education Counsellor for free advice Research application: Candidates intending to pursue research at university level need to fill in a 'Research application' form that is duly supported by all relevant documentation including the proposed area of research. For more information about research applications, please visit http://research.cqu.edu.au/

Language Program application: Candidates for English language programs need to fill in a 'CQU Language Program for Admissions' form and attach all relevant supporting documentation

Application for Cross-Institutional/Dual Enrolment: Students from other institutions need to fill in the relevant form with written confirmation from their institution of enrolment in the course/s

Application for readmission: Previous CQU full degree students who cancelled their program must fill in this form

Study Abroad Program application: Eligible students can take courses at CQU Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Mackay campuses in any undergraduate or postgraduate course

 

Step 2: Attach all certified documents

  • Certified copies of school results, academic transcripts, testamurs etc...Certified evidence of English language proficiency
  • For credit exemptions/advanced standing, students are required to provide detailed documentary evidence of courses completed to date and any awards conferred
  • All certified documents in a language other than English must be certified and translated in English by an approved translator
  • The certification must include the certifier's printed name and signature, title/position and date of notary.
  • The certification and stamp may be obtained from a Justice of the Peace or an authorised authority/institution.

Documents can be certified on campus by authorised CQU staffPlease do not submit the originals unless submitting in person on campus
