UOW racing team finishes close second in the US

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Wollongong is celebrating a close finish in an international championship in the United States. Formula SAE is a competition featuring race cars designed by the students themselves.

The team finished second behind winners Texas A&M University during the competition held at the California Motor Speedway at Fontana. The UOW scored near perfect across all categories and emerged triumphant in the dynamic events.
