Wollongong University - Indigenous Writer

Wollongong University - Major gathering of indigenous writing talent

Wollongong hosted the 6th Indigenous Writer's Night on the 24th of May by inviting renowned scribes from all over Australia and Canada to celebrate the written form.

The event was a UOW Centre for Australian-Canadian Studies presentation.
Guest writers included Alootook Ipellie, an Inuit Canadian writer and famous Australian writer, Phillip McLaren, the author of best sellers such as Sweet Water & the Stolen Land.
